1. Operation Scenario
Currently, the existing network is configured with GICF GE boards, and the current upstream bandwidth utilization is close to or exceeds the threshold, which is not conducive to later service provisioning; it needs to be replaced with 10GE upstream boards.
2. Operation steps
1. Under normal circumstances, this operation does not require restarting the device and does not involve data changes. However, it is still necessary to save and backup the data before the operation, compare the upstream port traffic and MAC number before and after the operation, and confirm the port optical power, CRC and other information. .
2. The type of board to be replaced is: H801X2CS, which can directly replace the GICF board.
(V800R011SPH110 and above versions,
V800R013C00SPC206 and later versions,
V800R013C10SPC206 and later versions
V800R015 basic version and above)
That is, you only need to pull out the original board and directly plug in the X2CS board, which can be automatically restored without manual operation.
3. When replacing, you can replace it in sequence, that is, replace one board first, and then replace the other board when it is normal; under normal circumstances, it will not affect the business.
4. The replacement of the 10GE board on the OLT side does not need to modify the data in principle, but the upstream equipment needs to adjust the data.
3. Exception handling
1. After the replacement, the board cannot be started, the RUN light is red, the port cannot be Up after the replacement, or the service is abnormal. Please contact Huawei engineers to locate the cause.
2. Rewind method: When the replacement fails and needs to be rewinded, delete all uplink data, then delete the X2CS board, insert the GICF board, confirm the board, restore the data, and verify the service.
